We were lucky enough to acquire Chef Matt’s services on a recent business trip to Malta. Our client’s dietary preference of up to ten vegan dishes daily over a 14 day period could be considered daunting to some chefs. Chef Matt embraced the challenge, and provided our client with wholesome, flavourful and elevated vegan dishes that were very well received. This particular client has rather exacting tastes, and he was thoroughly impressed with the range of meals that Chef Matt presented.
From my standpoint, I appreciated Chef Matt’s professional demeanour and appearance, his flexibility, creativity, cleanliness and enthusiasm. He worked together with us to ensure our client was fully satisfied, and we felt fortunate to have worked alongside with such a kind and well-spoken man such as Matt.
I would definitely employ Chef Matt again if and when the opportunity arises. He is a wonderful person who has a natural talent as a Chef. Thank you Matt for the experience.

I would like to highly recommend Private Chef Matt Vella for his impeccable service at a wedding party! His food was beautifully elegant, top notch quality and delicious! Guests kept coming to me saying how good the food was which is a really wonderful thing! Apart from that, behind the scenes Matt was a pleasure to work with from the get go - promptly responding to any questions I had. He was flexible and reliable, and also very discrete prepping all the food. He also left the place impeccably clean! Could not recommend him more, 5 stars all round!

I was recommended Matt’s Service via a very good friend to cater for a private party. Matt cooked live throughout the party and all the food was fresh and innovative. I have used Matt for 4 other occasions, twice for business dinners at home with foreign guests who were very impressed with the quality, presentation and taste. Matt will set a meeting with you and let you be as involved as you wish to be with planning and guide you accordingly. Then he will shop for the freshest ingredients, usually on the day and then comes to create his magic!
